We ("BSCA Ltd") have developed this privacy policy in order to demonstrate a firm commitment to the privacy of your data and GDPR. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of your data whilst providing a personalised and valuable service. This privacy policy applies to all "personal data" as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998. Information Collected

If you contact us for any reason, we may retain copies of any letters or emails, and may record written details of any telephone conversation with you. We will not make any audio recording of telephone conversations. We don’t hold any records on website visitors but do hold the following pieces of information about our members:

All of the above information is processed by the dedicated server that this website is hosted on inside the United Kingdom. The server is managed by us and no one else has access to it without our consent. The data types in the table above are kept until deletion is asked for or until we deem it no longer necessary.

We use third-party services, GoCardless, Stripe and WorldPay for payments. We do not store any bank account card details. More information from our third-party providers is below:

We also use MailChimp as our mailing service for keeping members up-to-date. This is a service that can be unsubscribed from at any time by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email that you receive.

The data types in the table above are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed. We keep copies of invoices for a minimum period of 7 years as legally required, however that period may be longer where required.

Use of information

We use information held about you only to respond to queries from you. Your information will never be sold to third parties.

Disclosures

We will not pass your information to any third party except if we are required to by:

  • The Police
  • Any regulatory or government authority
  • A court of law

We will inform you of any such order or request for disclosure as soon as reasonably practicable after we receive it, unless we are prohibited by law from doing so or it is not reasonably practicable to do so.


Security

This website utilises SSL encryption technology. Your passwords are stored in an encrypted format and cannot be decrypted by us.

Cookies and Server Logs

This website does not use any cookies other than the necessary cookies for keeping you logged into the website. We do not use any cookies for tracking you or any other tracking mechanism.

Server logs capture certain non-personally identifying data, such as the time and date of a web visit, the browser and operating system being used, the IP address or domain name of the user's ISP, and the web URL a user linked from. This information may be used in aggregate form to help us plan system enhancements when necessary and to provide content which is compatible with our visitors' web browsing systems.

Accessing your records

Members can request a copy of the data we hold about them at any time by making contact with us. We will endeavour to forward on this data as quickly as we can, but always within a month. You have the right to request for your information to be updated, which we encourage and you are able to update yourself via your profile page. We are also happy to delete your information on request; please be aware that this may result in a reduced ability to communicate with you. Please note that we cannot delete the data that we hold about you if any of the following conditions are met:

  • the personal data is still necessary for the purpose which we originally collected or processed it
  • the data is required in order to comply with a legal obligation
  • We are relying on consent as a lawful basis for holding the data, and you withdraw your consent

Change to Privacy Policy

If we change this Privacy Policy, the amended Privacy Policy will be posted on this website and the revised Policy will take effect once posted. Your continued use of this website after the posting will signify your agreement to the new terms.
