Hamilton Aquatics Middle East are looking for two enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated candidates for two positionthat they have available.

Position 1

is for a Head Coach for their continually growing Swimming Academy in the Middle East. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of ASA Level 2 Coaching (or equivalent).

The position is full time with a permanent contract and the total package including all allowances is in the region of 31-33k GBP (tax free and exchange rate dependant.)

Overview: To manage the squad programme within Abu Dhabi and deliver a high standard of coaching to the squads.

Job Description:

• Delivery - Planning and delivery sessions for Junior and Senior squads. Deliver all sessions in line with Hamilton Aquatics’ code of conduct and with consideration of child protection policies, whether Hamilton Aquatics’ lessons, squad sessions or school squad sessions. To deliver suitable technique/skills based sessions in line with the vision and philosophy of the Technical Swimming Counsel. Set competition calendar for the year and advise swimmers what to enter.

• Programme Management - Involvement in recruitment of coaching staff. This includes short-listing and interviewing possible candidates. Line managing the Development Coach, Club Squad Coaches and Masters Coaches and subsequent coaching team. Optimising the opportunities for the squad programme to grow and improve through the correct management of the staff.

• Communications - Maintaining communication with coaches regarding procedures and maintaining morale within the coaching team. To ensure that the coaching team are aware and fully informed of timetabling and all other information before it is released to parents and to deal with enquiries and communication from parents in a professional manner.

Position 2

is where Hamilton Aquatics Dubai are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated candidate for the position of Head Development Coach for their continually growing Swimming Academy in the Middle East. This position will be based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of ASA Level 3 Coaching (or equivalent).

The position is full time with a permanent contract the total package including all allowances is in the region of 26-28k GBP (tax free and exchange rate dependant.)

Outline: To oversee the Foundation, Development and Potential squads and coaches. To lead, plan and deliver a high standard of coaching to Olympic Junior and Competition Age squads, in line with the Long Term Athlete Development Plan. To be responsible for the overall talent identification, development and transition of swimmers in the squad programme from learn to swim through to performance squads.

Delivery: Planning and delivery sessions for Olympic Junior and Competition Age delivering all sessions in line with Hamilton Aquatics’ code of conduct and with consideration of child protection policies. To deliver suitable technique/skill based sessions in line with the vision and philosophy of the Technical Swimming Counsel. You will also assist with the setting of the competition calendar for the year and advise swimmers what to enter.

Programme Management: Line managing and mentoring the Development Coaches, Club Squads Manager, Assistant Coach to Olympic Junior and Competition Age squads and the subsequent coaching team. Maintaining communication with coaches regarding procedures and maintaining morale within the coaching team. Involvement in recruitment of coaching staff, including short-listing and interviewing possible candidates as required by the Head Coach.

Communication: Maintaining communication with coaches regarding timeframes and deadlines under instruction of the Head Coach. Monitoring whether actions have been complete. Timeframes will include delivery of information to customers, delivery of the squad programme, camp programmes and other campaigns.
