2017 Championships Policies announced

The selection policies for a number of 2017 championships are now available on the British Swimming website:

2017 European Junior Championships, Netanya, Israel, 28th June - 2nd July

2017 World OPEN WATER Championships, Lake Balaton, Hungary, 15th - 20th July

2017 World Championships, Budapest, Hungary, 23rd - 30th July

2017 European Junior OPEN WATER Championships, Marseille, France, 27th - 30th July

World Junior Championships, Indianopolis, USA, 23rd - 28th August

In relation to the World and European Junior Championships, you will note that at the start of this new Olympic cycle, we have taken the opportunity to produce a combined and inclusive policy which will potentially expose up to 60 swimmers to the international arena, and inspire them to take the 4-year journey towards Tokyo 2020. The policy for 2017 is based on racing and not qualifying times, and we look forward to seeing performances at the selection meet act as a foundation for some exciting results at these two benchmark competitions.
