Epping Forest District Swimming Club (EFDSC) is looking to recruit a new Head Coach.

The club is competitive yet friendly and has been running for 40 years in the Epping Forest area. EFDSC is part of Essex ASA and Swim England East Region.  During this time the club has produced swimmers at County, Regional and National levels but also runs a busy Learn to Swim school, a Masters squad and a small disabled swimming group and has participated in Open Water competitions. The club currently enters the East London Mini League and National Junior Swimming (M11) League but has previously competed in National Arena and Essex leagues too.  Our swimmers range from 3 to 83.  We swim at a range of leisure centres and school pools in the area. We currently have over 300 active swimming members.

This is an exciting opportunity for a new Head Coach to work with the Committee and Coaching team to develop the club and build on our existing successes.  Strong communication, organisation and management skills are vital as is the ability to motivate both swimmers and coaches to implement their Annual Plan for the club, as well as encouraging volunteers and parents to become more engaged with the club.  We are looking for an individual to bring the very best out of each swimmer through the delivery of an inspiring programme for all swimmers from LTS and throughout the competitive squads.

We are ideally looking for someone Level 3 qualified or equivalent but coaches working towards a Level 3 coaching qualification may also be considered.
