505 swimmers from 51 nationals swam to a top-25 placing in the long-course World Rankings for 2011. The 505 represent an increase of 18 swimmers compared to 2010’s rankings. For 2011, 271 males and 234 females swam into the top-25.

The Australian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association (ascta) has launched online registration for the 2012 ascta Convention, which is April 24-May 1 in Broadbeach, Queensland.

FINA has updated the Swimming qualifying procedures for 2012 Olympics. The qualifying system now posted on the FINA website is dated from November 2011 (updated from February 2011).
